Démonstration de fabrication de tourtière Landaise

At Biscarrosse Ville, Michelle and Simon welcome you into their Organic Pastry Shop for a demonstration of the production of Tourtière Landaise, followed by a small tasting.
This typical Landes dessert, worked in the old way, remains a local specialty. The ancestral technique consists in finely stretching the dough by hand to superimpose, in the mould, nine successive layers where the filling is inserted with butter, apples, prunes or blueberries. When it comes out of the oven, the tourtière is delicately brushed with Ayzieu’s Armagnac syrup that gives it this subtle flavour…
